Advanced level and equivalent

All results for pupils aged 17 at the beginning of the academic year are collected from awarding organisations for all schools in Wales and analysed as a performance measure. Schools then have an opportunity to check this information. The statistics include all qualifications approved for post 16 use in Wales for pupils sitting examinations in maintained secondary schools, special schools, independant schools and pupil referal units.
